Although not always listed, all HWNT officers are members of the numerous committees, in one way or the other, due to the nature of the offices they hold. HWNT invites all our members to volunteer in any way they can. Examples: helping in the planning of an event, donating time, money or donating specific items for an event, helping at the event itself... every little bit helps. The success of our organization and the events we sponsor, not only reflect on our members, but also on the community we serve. We enrich our own lives by reaching out and serving in the community we live... so be generous when and where you can. We appreciate our volunteers, sponsors and members.

Cultural Archives - Committee will help archive oral history for the Austin History Museum.
Dia de las Madres - Committee will assist President Elect in coordination of the annual event. A silent auction, which has yielded great success in the past, will be a part of the festivities.
Fundraising - Committee will help in all aspects or fundraising, such as grant writing and finding sponsors for various events.
Health & Wellness Sessions - Committee will provide physical fitness and nutrition guidance sessions to membership and community.
Las Estrellas Award - will review applications/nominations submitted for the Austin chapter award and select a recipient.
Membership - recruit new members and keep accurate records of members and contact info.
Outreach - recruit new affiliations with other organizations, entities, institutions, etc in the community we serve. Committee will focus on partnering and reaching out to those in the community, as well as, those serving the
community.
Public Relations - Committee will help edit and design HWNT quarterly newsletter, distribute press releases, and update content on HWNT website.
